DITO Telecommunity said Friday it rolled out two new authorized dealer stores in Biñan, Laguna and Muntinlupa City as part of its strategy to strengthen local partnerships and create business opportunities for Filipino entrepreneurs.
A DITO authorized dealer store operates on a cooperative model, fostering significant collaborations with local micro and small businesses.
“The DITO Authorized Dealer Store Program is more than a business strategy—it’s a commitment to growing alongside Filipino entrepreneurs,” said Adel Tamano, chief revenue officer of DITO Telecommunity.
“By working hand in hand with local micro and small businesses, we’re building a network that reflects the values of trust, inclusivity, and innovation. This isn’t just about expanding our reach—it’s about empowering communities and making sure that progress is shared,” he said.
DITO president and chief executive Eric Alberto earlier said the company would spend about P9 billion over the next two to three years to build 800 additional towers to cover at least 90 percent of the population.
DITO’s network coverage stands at about 86 percent.
The company said it invested over P250 billion in the past five years to expand its network nationwide, resulting in a robust infrastructure with more than 7,000 cell sites.
DITO entered the Philippine telecommunications market on March 8, 2021, aiming to challenge the duopoly of Globe Telecom and PLDT Inc.
